Hi Craig, you are my favorit Bullet-poster... ;-) We just dynoed two 454's with new heads, pistons, MEFI and closed lightening headers with 590 - 600hp @ 5400rpm for my '88 Bullet with Bravo 1. What prop would you recommend on fresh water and what speed could we +/- expect with this setup?

Probably start with a 28 Bravo.

26 or 28 Bravo1's ...depending what you want out of them and how many rpm's that your power will turn them. ;) You'll never figure it out on paper, got to get some test props and run them. Once you get the base numbers, it'll be easy!!! Best of luck with everything!!

Speed numbers? I used to have somewhere in the 600HP per side numbers and I could turn 26s @ 5600. That'll put you in the low 80's every day

Thank you both! I also guess that's the right way to do. 80 would be quite fast for overhere because the lake is about 1450 above sea level and it's around 40° F outside right now... :-D Anyway I'll let you know after some run in hours. Thanks, Damian

1994 flat bottom TG with 500efi's and bravo xr's. It runs 70-71 and 69 every day.

I just read the post from the start. Some of you are saying to much weight up front, but then run tabs down? Can you or do you have room to install saddle tanks and transfer pumps to move fuel around. Way cheaper than HP and drive swaps. I still think bravo props are worth more in scrap.

Finally... after upgrading the membership. ;-)

I've seen several people mention "neutral trim" on OSO, does that mean trim at zero (all the way in) or...?
