yep, we brought the boat back from OK over the weekend. Really solid boat with a lot going for it. Tons of great parts and all Eric (division1) has to do is put power in, we are putting a deal together on a pair of Merc 575SCI's at the moment. The boat has some stress but nothing I'm concerned with and i spent a couple hours looking it over so far. No structural anything anywhere, it is a light layup compared to standard guns and supposedly weights 2K less then a normal gun. There is signs of work having been done here and there but looks good. This boat is not a project and will be put in service as is come this spring. Eventually its getting one of my hatches (probably the TS) a set of my dash caps and a bad azz XT interior and maybe fresh colors some day but for now its fine and does not need much. I'm really surprised it had trouble selling, just goes to show ya how silly it is to speculate without seeing it first hand is. Gonna be a wave crusher again and I'd like to give some props to Kool-Aid Man for putting together a very nice rig although i know he has not been on in some time.

Thanks Glass Dave......glad it went to a good interim home to get a freshen up and I'm looking forward to seeing it when completed. Hopefully the next guy has as much fun with it as I did.

so I just wanted to say thanks to dustin (carter 38) for selling me the boat that wasn't even for sale lol I went to okc to buy a different boat that didn't turn out to fit the build we were looking for and dustin was nice enough to sell me his.Also I know glass dave is well known on the site and in the boating world but I just wanted to say hes the most stand up guy ive meet. He always gets my boats in tip top shape and keeps me from buying junk that I usally can justify!!!!! I had a bullet he made a one of a kind boat and I had many fun seasons on it but finally made the jump to the topgun and I look forward to make it one of a kind and enjoy it as much as the last boat but in the end were all in this sport for the people we meet the beer we drink and to be able to complain when our boat is broke!! There is a lot of great people on this site and info. we will post pictures of the kool aid topgun as we progress!!

Well it seems they have figured out the Johnson's lifters seem to be causing extreme valve train wear. My engine have always ran the Morels. There is NOTHING wrong with my cams or lifters GUARANTEED.

I would appreciate the PM's telling people my cams need to be changed would STOP. It is very sad that I am even posting this because the sorry azz moderators on OSO let it get to this point.

Guys from N.C., michigan, New York, wisconsin, canada, and many other places have as well on that thread.

I considered racking there but like having the set dock with all the stuff I need in the dock box. Also they only had room outside when we looked into it.

All new TopGun dash coming out soon :D . . . . pulled a mold off an 07 :) . . . . may also be doing an 08 style hatch for the early boats . . . . Erics boat is gonna be a guinea pig lol

Bullit actually went back to the guy he bought it from. I think that guy might be on to something . . . sell your boat cheap to some guy (one of us lol) . . . . let them do all the grunt work . . . then buy it back couple years later :D

No way this gun will be in Lake Erie in EARLY spring with moters and mabye a dash this winter interior will wait till following winter id rather use a older interior all summer than not boat!!! I've got me a running project lol wife will kill me if I rip it apart and it's not in the water

ok boys, with daves new and improved 07 dash I'm feeling like I need the new bolsters from the t/s guns if any one knows of any pairs or one we can get a mold off of let me know...... also looking for some throttles and shifters!!

Actually, if you count them all up, probably #4 or #5 at this point. (If you count #1&2 initial "brand new builds")
Technically "rebuild" #3 at 15-20hrs if you are not counting my original builds.

Yea that's rough man that has to be getting expensive. I'm hoping my sacrafice of mph and putting Efi 575 sci in it with only 575 ish a side it will prolly only go 72 but hoping it will stay together lol I'd rather go 72 every weekend than foot the bill at the repair shop lol

I think she'll run a bit better than 72. I am thinking mid 70s . The 575sci is a good engine. Should run comparable to a custom built set of 600s. A a dyers 871 conversion will wake them up too, which is also offers some reliability as well.
