No plans on it. We managed to pull it off last year with 66-67 boats. If we get a huge number Ill have to make arrangements.

Really , hope its perfect weather and even bigger than last year, it was awesome for my first year as a Cig owner.

Umm, shouldn't this be the other way around? Sorry honey, you can't go on a 30th anniversary trip 'cause we have the Cig Rendezvous! What better way to spend your 30th than on a Cig at LOTO with other Cig owners?! C'mon!

Let me see, miss one Cig Rendevous or loose my Cig and half of the rest of my **** in the divorce. I'll take skipping the run this year. Besides, we are going to blue water and a small private island.

Hey Brett, we saw the new pool at Coconuts on the web, very nice. Have the registrations exceeded last years yet?

If I knew I had a ride on a certain 38 TG I might! I just wish this wasn't back to back with SOTPR.

Well it's getting close, we are excited to go play on the Big Lake again.

Bill 3 06-06-2017 01:10 PM

When I RSVP'd in February, PBC was happy to book rooms for me at Tan-Tar-A. I assume there will be a lot of us staying there, it's close by car.

On a side note, they failed to reserve a covered slip that I had asked for. Called Tan-Tar-A to confirm and I had no slip and the only thing available was uncovered. If someone had a cancellation with a covered slip, I would appreciate the head's up so maybe I can snag it.

Bill, there's usually a decent sized group of us staying there. The drive is fairly short. I wouldn't quote me, but I'm thinking 2-3 miles tops.

I dont think you will be the only one without a covered slip while staying there. When I spoke to them about this they indicated that none of their rental slips were covered. The only covered slips they had were for fulltime renters. They did act like they "might" pull some of the full time renter's boats out to accommodate us for this event. That was just something that the lady mentioned they would consider doing but didn't say it was a definite.

last year they moved one of their rental boats out and put us in that covered spot. We were complaining nicely about where we were located. Honestly we had never had a covered slip in Florida, and it was nice.

Thanks for the info guys. The lady told me that she would put me on a waiting list for a covered slip if there is a cancellation, so I just assumed they are available. Now if I could just get a covered slip with a lift...:drink:

Does anyone know where the first stop will be? We will be down that day so wanted to check all the rides out on the docks.

Brett usually doesn't share that info with us until the day of the run. Maybe you could appeal to his softer side and get him to reply here with that info.

I good time to catch all the boats is at PBC before everyone leaves for the run.

Two years ago we went to Big Dicks, and last year we went to Coconuts and then Camden. Not sure what this year has in store.

Thank you Brett!!

I have been to both PBC and Redhead Yacht Club many times. This was my first time to the Rendezvous and it surpassed my expectations. Brett is first class and so is the whole operation. And man are Cig owners a great group - but I already knew that....:ernaehrung004:

frickstyle 06-28-2017 02:28 PM

Zero, what did you do with your old SSM5 drives? I may have already asked, do you still have them, if so, would you want to sell one? (I would like to have a spare laying around)

Zero Patience 06-30-2017 05:01 AM

We sold them, complete, transom, drives, steering, pumps, hoses, and extension boxes.
