Still haven't installed the AC unit or stereo but we did get the new (to me) trailer underneath it. Still working on the rigging. Down to vacuum gauges and moving the hydraulic lines for the helm.

That's the attitude! I still don't have an engine, so who knows WTF will happen this season. Would like to get AC in there too, running out of time.... We will be boating before you know it.

I can't answer that, and I don't want to derail the thread because this is a cool project / boat.

Who cares anymore? Boating is stupid when it's this frustrating. Going to do other things with my time, unbelieveable. I'm not going to rush to get it back together, it's too emotionally draining.

Suggestions for cabin lighting. I am going to try to hide most of it behind the valance on the sides and we will have a strip down the center that will act as valance. I want small and clean looking lights. I don't really care about the color change stuff.

Has anyone used the led strip lighting that you can cut? Does it give off a decent amount of light?

I've used the strip lights that you can cut, I'm very happy with them. They might be a little too bright, but you can cut and space them out with jumper wires. I bought the ones that are directional, the light comes out of the side, so where I used them the light points down instead of straight into the back of the trim pieces. I bought them from superbrightleds.com. Second pic the strip lights are on the bottom of the panel, above the cubby insert, under the amp.
