I haven't had the 2 apart side by side but I know the 3a has the same propshaft as a #5, uses 26 spline props, and I believe they have larger gears and bearings.

Lots of extra wire coming out. Almost done with rewire then to the rest of the rigging. Hopefully we start putting it together shortly. But we keep finding more crap to get rid of. Pictures of the new battery location. Cables will run under the floor once we are done mockimocking it all up.

Any reason to keep electric fuel pumps on a boat that uses mechanical? They are not hooked up but they were left in the boat plumed to the tank but not to the engines, and power was unhooked. I guess you could rig them to work temporarily if the mechanicals fail to limp home but seems unlikely.

Probably just the priming pumps, I don't have them... all gone ..

Future use, don't have to try and snake wires in neatly after the fact down the road.
