Spectro anaylsis: testing the engine oil and drive oil.. usually a good productive undertaking. Seeing as how both oils were fresh besides the few minutes run time we put on them w no load its more of a just for the hell of it deal at this point..

I wouldn't be opposed to come run with you tho, I've never boated over there. Love to see your new vessel! PM me if your planning anything.

1st spring start... Just to establish a base line I'll be refreshing some wearable items, batteries will be a start along with some small interior upholstery projects and powder coating/painting of purple parts to green . I'm going to have to zinc up the whole stern and verify grounds before splashing it; the owner has protection on the drives and tabs but not tie bar or anything steering related as he boated mostly in fresh (not that that's a reason to not have galvanic protection). Thankfully its a full IMCO setup so I'll give them a shout to see what they have to say.. I have a binder of full of receipts, the original Cig owners manual, the drive owners manual including parts brake down and part number list. Owner has been running Cen-pe-co oils, looks like they may prove slightly more difficult to get around here than others, I'd really like to stick with whats been run in it but if it's going to be a total pita than I'll switch to some Brad Penn... Any thoughts on the oil subject; can of worms I know... Or for those of you who are here in Maine or New England what do you find is available, worthy, and in relatively easy supply?

Cen PE Co is used heavily by Drag and Tractor pull guys. Great stuff.

If I need to get that far I will, I'm still trying to verify how available the Cen-pe-co is. Good idea tho..

I just run Mobil 1. Very cheap at Walmart. Change once a year (which for me is almost always going to be way less than 20 hours).
