Hi all
new to this forum.
Want opinions on my idea of getting a 35 cafe without power and doing an outboard conversion with bracket and enlarging cockpit for more space?
Perhaps with a pair of new 400 outboards should move pretty good.

Cafe's are heavy boats, generally heavier than a top gun. Twin 400s might not really do it justice. Maybe twin 557s..

I love outboards so I'd say it's a great idea, BUT.........
I think twin 400's might disappoint, maybe triple 350's?
Balance could be hit and miss, might need a lot of homework first.
Traditional offshore enthusiast won't like you changing a Cigarette significantly.
It would cost a lot more than you'd ever see back in return.
Theres a couple of 31' Bullets that have been done and the results were very good but not everyone would agree and I totally understand both views.
