I don’t think it is either. That ad isn’t that old and there’s current pics. This things sitting in some yard in Kentucky. maybe it’s the one that caught fire and sank in the Bahamas??? There’s only a few out there. It’s one of them.

Oh god!! Why did they sand off the history! I loved the period paint on that boat! That was 50% of what I loved about it.. It actually gave it some shape too.. Now its just dull...

Rhythm and Blues I couldn't agree more. As I begin to look more seriously for another boat, I tend to look past those that have been "updated" because they will eventually be dated but never classic. It's kinda like the old Corvettes that had the inner edge of the rear fenders ground down to accommodate fat tires at the drag strip. If they were damaged, that is different but otherwise they can't ever be made whole again. Now one just has magenta piping on the seats to deal with.
