Fit the Gladiator on her new lift last weekend. Yesterday, the lift company measured for a side runner and a huge rear service platform. Will be 30" wide and span the entire 14' width of the lift. Should make it easy to remove the XR ITS covers and drench with Salt-Away after each use.

That's awesome. It looks great. And cleaning under the ITS covers is so paramount, but not enough people know to do it.
I'd be a little concerned about point loading on those four pads. Have you thought about having more of a cradle made for it? (Myco offers this.)

Also, I wonder if one could fabricate a flushing port for the ITS covers? Something you put a quick connect on, and flush them out without removing the cover.

That set-up does not suck. ;)

I would separate those guiding poles more as the Glad has no rub rail and will damage the point. Obviously it easy to load the boat with having the guide poles to make the center of lift but it will ruin the pain and quick. The same when i see people hosing the boat and don't put a rag or something where the hose meets the paint or when pumping gas.

I'm surprised the boat is only supported by 4 small points......nice ride

4 small points in my opinion is not good.

Congratulations on your purchase. What work is being done? Post photos?

One of the motors are hurt... low or "lower" compression between cylinder #5 and #7....
Going to have both pulled and looked at... then go from there... Boat needs a little TLC, cables, gimbals, I guess you could say the normal stuff on a 15 year old boat... I got all winter to get her right, ill post pics once this project is under way.

where in tampa are you? Kind of looks like the west shore area. I also live on the water in Tampa. Nice setup and boat not very many performance boats in our area. I have a friend with a 32 spectre and another buddy with a 388 hustler nice to know there's another performance boat in the area we all usually boat together. I'll stick to my 30 concept the outboards are so easy to maintain and work on lol. Bad ass gladiator!!

Good eye noticing that. I temporarily set the posts there after the boat was on the lift. Haven't moved it since. Yesterday, the 5' trailer guide post pads arrives. Durable for the sun, but soft for the paint. Will trim the guideposts to proper height, slide those over the PVC, then adjust so the boat has just a smidge of wiggle room to get thru. Also leaving enough room so cover fits between boat and posts.

This was the set-up I was able to get with the lift and installer/dealer. I plan to look into a better set-up, so Myco will be my first place to look. But first, the stereo shop has to do their work! Need more COWBELL!
