Who is getting ready to sell their Gladiator?
These things don't come available often. Anyone thinking about selling?
|
There is one for sale in Michigan on Facebook right now.

Hi Sydwayz, Would it be this one? 2004 CIGARETTE GLADIATOR powerboat for sale in Michigan
I submitted to join that FB group you sent, so cannot tell if they are the same boat. Called earlier today and it is sold. There are ,multiple listed online that have been sold already. One is listed in Texas for over $230k. Phone number is wrong. Looks like an old ad that has never been taken down. |

All the Gladiators on powerboat listings.com are old adds. There is one for sale in NY that is in the OSO classifieds with 525's and there is one for sale in Michigan that Brian sent you the link. It's a 2003 Lip-Ship Edition with 700+ Zuls. He's asking $139,900.
|
BigSilverCat here has an Gladiator that might be for sale no power.
|
Hi LS, would love to check out the Michigan boat. Waiting for admission to that group to see the listing. (If you or Brian could send a different link, it would be much appreciated.)
CB, one can only imagine how nice BSC's Gladiator must be. I'll PM him. Thanks |

Mine has had a rough life, I have been debating between selling it or putting diesels and arneson on it

The photo in your post looks just like the Gladiator I called on from South Carolina. The person indicated it sold (possibly a while ago.) Still waiting to get into the FaceBook group so I can see the ad. Can you pull a link or contact data from the FaceBook ad so I can call on this boat? Much appreciated. Jon |

Looks like shes heading to Tampa! I know shes going to be loved and appreciated. Covered lift, secure storage, and Jon has tons of resources within the boating community to ensure shes kept running top notch so I can fly in for poker runs :-) Its truly awesome when two parties can work swiftly and smoothly to create a top notch transaction for everyone. |
Just curious, you only had the boat for a short time. Why did you sell? Awesome ride BTW.
|
Everyone could only hope to work with a seller like Jordan. The boat is in excellent condition and has been meticulously cared for by the quintessential boater.
Will be setting up appointments with the preferred facilities so they can get baseline readings. She's getting custom configurations on the lift, the indoor storage facility is sweeping up her new berth, and my wife and kids are dying in anticipation. (Someone needs to make an app so iPhone video acoustics replicate in-person sounds.) I wish Jordan and I didn't live so far apart, he'd be a constant buddy onboard. Jordan, you and your family were and are a delight to be around. We will get together again, and soon. I'm confident of that. |

OK, no thoughts of selling it before you go thru a re-fit? Just curious, I will eventually have one, but maybe not right this minute.
|
My wife and kids would be disappointed if I sold it. Lots of memories and we agreed to do the refit. If our plans change, I will keep your name handy and reach out.

First off. I love gladiators. Ill definitely have one again. They are 1 of the most under appreciated, misunderstood and overlooked boats ever made! Several reason for selling. I live 1.5 hours minimum from water. The lake I have a cabin on hates the noise it makes and i refuse to muffle these new badass engines. I have a potential investment/dream property deal looming overhead as a very close family friend is getting up there in age and I need to be in a position financially and time wise to make the deal happen. Gladiators require more attention to take boating. The only people I can trust to keep me off docks and pay attention are other boaters and all my buddies, you guessed it, already have their own boats. I had it for a year but I feel ive done my part to make it an awesome boat. Many day trips and 4 poker runs with it. It runs better than it did new and its ran the best speeds ever under my operation. I take pride in finding my boats good homes as I have with my last 2 and Jon is a perfect fit for this boat. I knew he was the guy to take over preservation of it 5 minutes into our first call. His passion for Gladiators is near the top if the list. It feels great to pass this boat on to him and make his dream come true as scott did for me a year ago.
Ok. Too much emotional babble. But I hope that answers things. |
Kid
Making right move on the farm, I am sure you will be back in a 1 soon. Just remember your #2!!! |
Cool, thanks for the insight. they are hot rods for sure. Good luck on the property, sometimes you have to sacrifice the toys for the bigger picture.
|
Jordan has a great head on his shoulders.
Been a little quiet the last few days getting all the plans and paperwork completed. New lift being built, indoor storage arranged for trailer and periodic boat storage. Insurance being bound. Boat leaves Michigan tomorrow. Jordan, I know you'll be sad to see her go. She'll be cared for and loved. You can visit any time, brother! |

thanks. ill for sure be coming down to check on her. just don't get anymore vacation till after the new year lol
being responsible is hard work. everyone is sending me links of boats I should buy... ha |
Wonder what a gladiator would do with trip 400s? Yes it would be just wrong but the way the market is going. They could even make a bigger cockpit with that set up.
