Take a holesaw and drill through the outer layer of glass, may as well see what ya got. Its not like its a secret anymore about whats up with the condition.

id be willing to bet that there an astonishing amount if wet boats that be used every year.

I agree, this is one of the core samples I took, I guarantee many boats are wet and guys don't know, but I won't run one wet if I don't need to, I want a gun but mistress is dry so I'm ok to keep looking till I get what I want

I'd run it and save my money up for a twin step. Cheaper to run, faster , and i think they rider better in the mid 70 range. At 80 is where the straight bottm gets up on top of the waves and really softens up the ride.

I prefer older boats to be honest, for what I am doing, especially overnighting... and I can pay cash easily that way, I'm not too concerned with a peed as much as capability for my needs, if speed was issue I would buy a 42 staggered and stepped fountain

I wouldnt sweat that rotten keel stringer and bulkhead . There is enough strength built into the hull at the keel area that its almost redundancy. Drill the other stringers and see what their like.

if you run that thing hard enough to break it you will be tearing it apart next year antways to cut the cabin liner out thats ratteling around.
