Default Which top guns??

ok so after looking at a few top guns and comparing things, talking to Glassdave and others it is obvious the 87-90 guns are laid up heavier and stronger then 91-up guns, my question is for guys who have had both or been in them both in slip what's better??

For use in Great Lakes and loving rough water runs ... overnighting every weekend and all out useability...

Lets say 87-90 gun with 3's 700 ish HP vs let's say 93 with Trs/konrads/bravo 700 ish hp what is the differences in ride wuality im Great Lakes slop? Both same? One better then other and why?

Have you ever rode in a twin step? If not I think you’d be surprised, there’s really no drop off in ride difference. Cabin is a different story though

yes and to me all cigs ride great but there is some didfeeence in feel, that being said. T/S would be sweet the issue with those is the overnighting for me every weekend they are not very overnight friendly especially with wife having enclosed head on the list lol

If the cabin is your biggest concern, buy a post 90's gun. As I've stated over and over....Best cabin in it's class.

You're not going to notice a difference in the ride between the two by the way.

Tim, there's a 2000 37 Active Thunder on facebook that I tagged you on. Boat has 500EFI's, full cabin, enclosed head, etc..., runs 85mph and asking $64k. I know you're a big Cig fan, but you like the cabins and if you want to get into a faster, newer boat with a nice cabin and good ride in the rough, there's not much out there without spending a ton of money.

That boat is very hard to beat- downside is the hours on the top ends but boat looks to of been very well kept.
