Man cave question

As many of you already know, we .....HORBA....have tons of photographs (Over 100,000) from the top photographers of offshore racing from the 60's, 70's and 80's.

We have been asked many times, if we could put together a "Set of photos" from a specific time period or specific boat size or brand, that was an offshore race boat.

Staying strictly with Cigarette as a brand......what would Cigarette owners like to see.... if they were going to buy a set for their.... Man Cave or Office or Study or Boat House or Garage?

Such as.....The 32 Cary's that were the first Cigarettes, or the 36 footers or the 35 footers or the 40 footers or the 39 footers or the 37.6 footers??

And how many would a"SET" be 4 - 6 -8 -12??

We would feature them in our Online Store www.historicraceboats.com

Thanks for your input

for me it would depend on the size. Personally I'd be happy with 2 if they could be poster size vs 6 small 5x7's

So a poster in the 18 X 36 size and the "Set" could just be 2?

What race boats would you be interested in....by year or name or driver?

Thanks for the input

We have a new model builder in Europe that has been producing models of the 35 foot Cigarette for us.

We will be bringing them over after the first of the year. He is finishing all the pre order models for Christmas orders.

He is also looking at doing a smaller version of the 32 foot Cary that we sold before. That model was 32 inches and the new ones will be approx 18 inches.

We already have that in the mix, along with the art work that George Bartell, the artist that did all the Cobra stuff for Carroll Shelby.....he also did the work for John Crouse for SEARACE. see below

We are pricing the posters and photos in both sizes from 8 X 12 to the 24 X 36 inches

The online store is open now and some of the stuff can be seen along with a blowout sale on some old tee shirts.

It will be on the new site after January 1 with a lot more items for sale.

There will be a large section where you can pick the boats you want in either size photo or poster and also we are putting some groups together, either by driver....IE All of Betty's race boats or all of Don's race boats, or all Donzi race boats from the 60's.

Thank you for your input. We will have both posters in the 24 X 36 inch sizes and photos in the 12 X 8 inch sizes plus we are putting together various "Groups" of photos for purchase also.

We have been working on the new book for 2018 called Don Aronow, the Man and his many offshore racing boats. From this we realized we have so many different boats that evolved one from the one before that this would make a nice "Group" also.

The more we are working on this, the more ideas we get.

Feel free to write at any time with any additional ideas for ways to keep the history of offshore racing alive.
