When do you have to register by?

Unless they just have a crazy number of boats, there probably isn't a shutoff for registration. I'm sure they appreciate registering though considering its a free event.

I think it's more of an issue getting a condo to stay in, and a dock reservation if you want to stay in the water. I remember not being able to get a room, a couple months in advance. High season on the river.
