T/S Hatch Retrofit

Interested in hearing who has put a T/S style hatch on a straight bottom. Sounds like GlassDave has built a few but I haven't heard back from him. Would a factory T/S hatch drop right on?

Not sure if a factory hatch would drop right in, but I did see one of GlassDave hatches when I dropped my boat off at XT. It looked really nice and fit well, for some reason I think he needs your old hatch for measurements but don't hold me to that!

Also, how much does it weigh?

Seems to be fine, two big blower scoops and 6 side vents, never really noticed an issue. There's a lot of room underneath too, so the engines aren't jammed up underneath the hatch. It probably could use a vent out the back. Not really sure how to answer because i've never "taken a air temp" reading back there.

Myself and my now wife picked it up to load on a trailer, she's pretty fit though. I wouldn't say it's "light", probably 275-300+ lbs?

My hatch has been modified, it has the factory front and rear vents but the sides have been opened up to make them functional, just curious

You're boat is sofa king beautiful. What drives are on that thing again?

Regarding the outlet vent on your hatch. I always like the little flap style release vent at the aft portion of the hatch. They cover the hole when not at speed and open up when the air pushes through. I bet it'd be pretty simple to install one - paint to match, cut hole, install. ;)
