I was able to cut a small holes in my seat bottom and reach up there with a pneumatic wrench and get them off. It was a terrible job for something that seems like it should be so simple. I'd rather pull motors in a snowstorm while wearing a speedo than go through that again

Its has either 6 or 8 screws holding the bolster to the base, then one 3/8 lag bolt with a block screwed to the side. When I flipped my bolster over, the seat bottom holes had like a mesh screen over them and was attached by a couple screws. You can remove them so you can gain access to the handle nuts, I used a open ended ratcheting wrench. Watch out for the staples in there! They can eat you up!!
