Default Cafe Prop talk

Happy Holidays fellas, I’ve been looking for a spare set of 26-27-28 B1s to mess around with on my cafe. Has anyone ever run a set of Bravo Mach props? I just found a set of 14x27s and thought for the price it might be worth having them if they could work out or if not just a set of limp home wheels. Thanks.

Probably be limp home wheels. From what I've read and been told, you'll want the larger diameter props to lift these heavy hulls out of the water, for optimal performance.

Thanks. I took a look at them and the hubs on the Mach are not interchangeable w my B1s and I’m running 1-1/4 shafts. Oh well it was worth the education.

Ha, ok that makes sense. I thought Fin may have been short for Finished, which in turn would have been short for Lab Finished... Look at me reading too much into it... lol

Have you run any 5 blades at all? Be curious how they responded. Are you running standard length or shorty lowers?

When I talked to Brett at BBlades about working on my 26 B1s we talked about a few possibilities
5 blades being one of them; I’m not too worked up over my wheels; they perform well and are easy on the drives
which is my paramount interest. I was just looking for a spare set that’d work in their current configuration that I could possibly play with.

5 blades will most likely destroy drives and lift stern too much.
