Insuring an old boat has become increasingly more difficult. I don’t think Foremost accepts old boats anymore because of claimed losses in the category 2-3 years ago.
I will I’ll be shopping for a new policy this summer as foremost has become unaffordable. Will let you know what I find.

Nice looking boat !
I just bought one to , a 1993 top gun 38 .
only problem I have is , I can’t find anyone to insured the boat , I have done a survey , now they ask me for a Dyno test on the engine , since the engine were upgrade to 502s with blowers ...
never heard a insurance company request that .
im from the Richmond Va area ,
where you guys get the insurance for your boat?

I got a quote the other day on a 2000 cig and the quote from foremost was not competitive. Hundreds and hundreds more than Wagner. I've always had my business with Stacey but paying a 33% premium might be too much for me to bear....
