Maybe I'll just charter your son, he can make some side cash $$$.

Nice find, you will probably find as much fun in it as RWD. I too have a second boat and find we have just as many good times with half the aggravation as the Cig.

lol for sure!!!

I’ve always loved whalers since I was a kid. Probably just as much as offshore boats. Looking forward to having some fun on it. Keeping it in the harbor so itll
be easy to jump on and go.

Wow, fantastic choice and it sure looks that the father son team did some heavy lifting restoring it neatly. Sad the fellow's father passed. My younger brother

has been looking at a sub-20-footers for our stretch of SoCal, and a budget of max $20k. Told him 17' Montauk or maybe even a 1996-1999 Outrage II.

I'm also a fan of the old SeaCraft 20 models, Seafari, Sceptre or the regular open version. Small ocean capable boats are *****in'. We'll see what he buys.

if I was more serious about fishing I’d get a 21-22 outrage. Even one of the old emergency boats. Things are built
like brick sh*t houses.

Whelp. Finally got the gun out to cali for the first time since buying it. All
ready for some
good summer running in the big blue. Drug the whaler to havasu to
get rigged and picked up RWTD.

Do you have to back down the street with the trailer to leave your block, or is there space somewhere to turn around?
That's one sweet Burb in the first photo. Looks to be almost as tall as mine. I have an 04 2500 Burb 6.0 Vortec, that i swapped an 8.1 496 into. Got 15" of lift on 41.5" tires. Gotta appreciate a well built rig when i see one😉
