nope, no bags. It’s level, doesn’t sag. Tows like a dream. Seriously, thing tows so nice, night and day difference from our 05. I guess with that extra beef from the 3500 it makes a difference. Our place to havasu is about 330 miles or something. Theres some hills to climb, not mountains but long gradual grades. Boat was 100% full of fuel and loaded. Saw flashes of low 6 mpg up hills and 16mpg down hill. Think it settled in somewhere around 11/12 mpg. Better than I thought it would do. When pulling though, if you keep it under 65 the fuel mileage is way better. Get up to 75plus and it’s low mpg. Up the hills thing has gobs of power, 65mph up the grades without pushing it hard at all 2k - 2200 rpm. The exhaust brake thing is pretty freakin awesome too. Keeps you nice and controlled speed while going down hill with out reving the sh*t out of the engine. Also, cruise control while towing was awesome, interactive so it keeps you from following too close. Whole set up was dialed. Super super happy with it. And coming home unloaded, saw 20 mpg but averaged 16/17 and ran about 80-85 whole way.
My kid actually filmed the truck towing the boat down the highway and put it on TikTok and Instagram under finnsears36 I don’t know how to post it on OSO.
