That's awesome!.
That boat, it's name, and the Van Halen track rock.
I'd rock Van Halen as a ceremonial kick off every time I fired that up at the dock to take off.

I live my life like there's no tomorrow

And all I've got, I had to steal
Least I don't need to beg or borrow
Yes I'm livin' at a pace that kills

Ooh, yeah

Ahh

finally ran it today. All
good. Nice shake down. Only ran it up to
like 70 and 4K RPM. Barely got into the boost at all. Pulls like a freight train. Sounds good even with mufflers. Runs smooth. Hopes it off with 110 octane since I didn’t know how long fuel was in there.

funny side note. It has those aircraft lockable fuel caps and I didn’t realize it and threw out the key on accident! So, go to fill
up and realize no key. Took it back to Barrett and they drilled the locks out. That delayed the launch. But after worked it out. All good. Launching again tomorrow.

I didn’t take many photos as I was dealing with all
the things. But maybe some more pics tomorrow.

So, topped it off with 100
gallons of 91. My boys, daughter and a buddy ran it up river to pirates cove. Nice day. Bumped it up
and
say 90 for a moment when a stupid sea doo decided he wanted to race me after he wouldn’t get out of the
****in way I finally get around him and his buddy and im
at like 65 dude finally looks over as im
passing him and thinks its race time. This was just after a seadoo jet boat decided to make a hard left right in front of us. Man im
telling you, these dipsh*ts pay zero attention. So, I’m ALLLL done with seadoos and just want to
get away. I look over and now dude is doing like 65 next to me. I’m like “not today” let into it a little and wave bye bye. Hit 90 Then backed it down to 65 again and kept on truckin. I don’t want to race dude. I just want to get away from you!. lol. Anyway, kids got to drive. Everyone had fun. Boat runs great. Seems everything is working good. Except lost a tach for a short time but once I turned motors off and floated then turned ghem
back on it was fine. Those motors don’t like
to idle through the channel though. They like
to run!

pulled it out a bit ago. The cradle trailers are soooooo much better than I beam. Easy load on no problem. And im
getting used to the pros spinning in around the docks. Just takes some getting used to.

few pics.

Any initial hesitation about the paint should be long gone. Thing looks bad a$$, period. I bet you could have steered that thing like Tommy Lee steers a houseboat on the first outing. Congrats, my man!!

lol. Yeah man the paint is flawless. When seen in person, there’s no disliking. It’s beautiful. The paint job is crazy nice and in perfect shape. Not a Nick or scratch on it. Kindve unnerving. I was docking and dealing with props turning in instead of out and nearly hit the dock but my kid saved it last minute like a stud. But I was thinking, whelp, first day and I’m gonna screw the paint up. lol The whole props turning in is gonna take some getting used to.

and yeah, it was cool running it past couple days. But you know, checking everything making sure all is good. Keeping close eye on gauges. Different than running the last boat where you just floor it for 45 minutes. lol.

have some cool videos but can post on here since the format doesn’t allow it.

we’ll
be back out week from wed to run it again for supercat fest west in havasu.

Do you have the drives trimmed clear in when docking?

If yes, try try trimming the drives a couple clicks positive (past neutral)
