Default I bought my first Cigarette!

I posted before that I found a 1987 Top Gun on a tropical island. Now I finally bought it for a good price. My first Cigarette!

It comes with an Airberth and a spare short block with cero hours.
Engines and the spare are bored and stroked, not sure how much, have Holley Carbs, Crane roller cams, aluminum heads and Stainless Marine exhausts.
At least one tank is leaking, engines don’t start probably because of faulty cables and generally cabling is a mess. Fridge, toilet, water, nothing works and either do the trim indicators, most instruments and switches.

It is a project and only replacing the tanks will take a while but totally worth it. Can’t wait to buy all these fancy new spare parts.

Biggest question is now how to get it off that tiny island?
Is the bow eye strong enough for towing? Next travel lift is 8 miles away but that’s on another island. To the mainland it’s 30 miles. Do you think I can tow it?

No reason you can't tow it in fairly calm water. I would make sure you have some type of high capacity bilge pump hooked to good battery in it in case it starts taking on water
