Cig 20 in the Classfieds

A true gift from Travis this one. I recall my struggles trying to find a nice '70s Cig 20, West of the Mississippi 15 years ago. Finally found a project, in Central California, had several gel shades from yellow to dark brown with an old 454 and TRS drive. $12k and it would have taken another $20k to be in OK shape, and then it needed a new trailer. Finally had to settle for a Schiada 20 since I couldn't even find a nice Cig 20 for under $35k anywhere. The yellow/brown eventually sold and went back East. A top-of-the-line Sea-Doo is $25k!

How much improvement to the top speed did you see with cutting down the skeg? The bravo on my 20 is deep. I’ve seen mid 60s (phone gps) with a 383sbc.
