I agree that it's cool, but it's a pain in the azz when idling at just above idle speed. If I could back it off of the lift and then get on plane, I would certainly keep the foot throttle. That's not the case

I'm also planning on putting hydraulic steering on it....and eventually a paintjob....and some tabs.

I think you need to look at things more logically, and move to house closer to the no wake zone.
