Oh I already want it. Problem is I already have five boats so space is becoming an issue.

I actually sold the Formula back in July so that's why I'm considering the 20.
Replaced the Formula with a pontoon which I gave to my daughter and her family.

A true gift from Travis this one. I recall my struggles trying to find a nice '70s Cig 20, West of the Mississippi 15 years ago. Finally found a project, in Central California, had several gel shades from yellow to dark brown with an old 454 and TRS drive. $12k and it would have taken another $20k to be in OK shape, and then it needed a new trailer. Finally had to settle for a Schiada 20 since I couldn't even find a nice Cig 20 for under $35k anywhere. The yellow/brown eventually sold and went back East. A top-of-the-line Sea-Doo is $25k!

Thanks. Yup, as deep as the drive is, cuts down on drag with no affects on handling.

Also, have a -2 shorty that I never tried out. Should push it to upper 60's as I'm told.

So... I've put 8 hours on this little boat.....and HOLY CHIT, what a blast! The unbelievable part is that I still have a half tank of fuel. How can that be??? 30 gallons in 8 hours? :boat:

I've got almost a 30 minute idle before getting on plane, but have done at least a dozen wide open blasts trying to get a feel for it. Already making plans to take it over to Mike @ FineLine Interiors so he can put a Gladiator style interior with some high back buckets and a console. It needs a hand throttle. I agree that it's cool, but it's a pain in the azz when idling at just above idle speed. If I could back it off of the lift and then get on plane, I would certainly keep the foot throttle. That's not the case ;) I'm also planning on putting hydraulic steering on it....and eventually a paintjob....and some tabs. :D

Would anyone know of how many 20’ Cigarettes where made with jet drives?

I think you need to look at things more logically, and move to house closer to the no wake zone.
