Wow. That was the first summer we had the boat. Completely amazing and great memory. We have always been in Sandusky. Originally out of the Harbour 85-93. Then out of Cedar Point from 96-current. I remember Rice Hauler. Nice guy. He had the first twin step I had ever seen. I was amazed and pissed off we missed it by one year. I unfortunately haven’t seen him in many years. Life had gotten busy and we spent less and less time up there until recently. Originally my father started our family up there when we were just kids. Things have developed that my brother and I have been fortunate enough to take over. We have now technically split two boats between the two of us. The 42x and 36 Skater.
Sorry for the delay in response, 2 kids and a baby make it tough to stay connected. Great Response!!! I remember seeing your gun coming and going but never had the chance to really connect. My dad had the 35 Mistress next to Rob's boat in that thread and he also had a gun racked at venetion. Best times of my life. I live in Wisconsin now but my heart is still in that Sandusky Triangle. I gotta ask, What did you guys have before the gun when back in the Harbor. There were many awesome boats there back in the day that ported out of there.....Lenny;'s apache & arronow, Jerry's Saber, Night Moves, and the Irritator to name a few. It sounds like you guys stepped up to two awesome boats... Either one has to be a blast! Still at the point with both..? We dont get back there often as much as I would like but I am hoping when the kids get older we make some moves to secure some more time there... I am thinking a 2000 T/S gun will be the key. Big enough cabin to sleep in. Good reliable/dependable speed. I just nee my buddy Lyn to sell me his rid (Pure Insanity) Who knows that is a little bit away... But its a dream I keep working towards.
