I have 2 more pairs of 8 inch wet sounds coaxials and adding a 3rd pair in the spring.

That is exactly where I put my 10" subs on my AT to save the storage space under the back seat. They clear the hull side by about 1/2".

YES! With the free airs I had there was still room to store stuff but I was always concerned about the speakers being exposed to stuff rattling around under the rear bench. The two individual enclosed boxes on the gun left a little storage room under the bench. The fully enclosed box we have now in the cafe leaves only room to store the nave light poles which kinda sucks. But, do to change all that this winter so we'll see.

I thought about that, but on my boat, the transom shower spicket is on the passenger side between the front bolster and back seat. So, I think the simplest thing to do, in my case, is the free air subs under the seat. I was a little concerned that the free air subs would not work well, but from the feed back, it seems they work well. Obviously a boxed sub would work best, but I was never big stereo guru. Thank you tho for the input.

Yes but im talking about the footwell area next to the feet of the front passengers. You can fit a full 12 inch free air in there, easy peasy just drill the hole and screw it in. The wet sounds 12 hits like a sledge hammer if driven with sufficient power. I started with a 10 inch and was underwhelmed, now with the 12 im very happy.

I have 2 feee air under back seat soon don’t lose storage, and also 1 on each side in front of bolster, powered properly they sound great! Many guys don’t power subsubs properly to get the sound right. I prefer JL

Ooohhh, I see what mean now, sorry, misread. Yes, there is room up there. I don't want to get too crazy tho, as there are already speakers by the bolster base anyway.

I`m with Tank, I didn`t want stuff bouncing around under the bench taking out the speakers , I boxed my subs and added battery , anchor and lines still fit just fine, don`t feel like I lost that much room

Running 4 Memphis Audio 12s Free Air under my seat its like an enclosure. Still have my ropes, anchor and miscellaneous items under there. Two 1000watt Fosgate Amps are driving them and honestly it’s way too much🤣 Running a bass controller to keep it tuned and 8 Memphis 6.5s with two more 600 watt Fosgate amps powering them. All this and still looking for a reasonably priced 38TG😁
