My daughter and I are planning on going. First time to the Ozarks.

Where should we stay? Can we come sans boat? Are 'prospective' Cigarette owners welcome?

FWIW it appears they are trying to advance some marginal opening if possible from current restrictions on local businesses in an attempt to move forward. Camden County is trying to get guidance at the state level or at least more clarity with current restrictions. If I had to guess its with respect to serving boats dockside at waterside establishments in a limited capacity. While the article doesnt note it before this started I think you could tie up at a dock and order food via server to your boat similar to drive-thrus for cars while maintaining all the distance stuff. At least that would start to generate some income.

lands end is a nice place to stay. Covered docks with large breakers. Plus it puts you in Osage by all the action (if that’s what you’re coming for) about 3 miles by lake to PBC. Dogs days across the bay, backwater jacks 2 miles away.

https://www.kshb.com/news/coronaviru...reopen-economyKANSAS CITY, Mo. — Beginning Monday, Missouri will be open for business again.

The statewide restrictions on social gatherings will be gone and every business can reopen under Missouri Gov. Mike Parson’s plan, though the tighter restrictions and extended stay-at-home orders many metropolitan areas have enacted will remain in effect.

It's like 4 weeks out. Anyone have the official word if this is still 100% on? We're booked for car and hotel. About to buy the airline tickets. Just want to make sure it's still a go.

Last info I got was it's still a go. The lake has opened up for the most part with respect to lakeside bars with some restrictions, you could call PBC to make sure but unless some major setback takes place with the Wu-Han you should be good to go.
