Default Weather Stripping on Hatches

What weather stripping are you guys using on your hatches?

Mine has shrunk over the years and I can see light through it. Need to replace.........

D ring, do yourself a favor and instead of trying to get it to line up perfectly on the hatch. put it around the lip of the hatch on the deck.

Thanks - D bag. That's what I was thinking - put them on the deck instead of the hatch

Just ordered my new hatch latches so trying to get this weather stripping replaced too...

Also, per our conversation, I'm working with Tony at XtremeMarine on my Marine Mat. Will keep you posted on the out come....

I purchased some from www.mcmaster.com/ that worked great on my Top Gun Hatches. I know I bought a roll that was huge and 1/4 of the price.

They have some other styles that look interesting. Their "style G" looks like it might seal better if putting on the deck....

I bought a few years ago, but was very happy with the quality and adhesion

Probably ill-advised but I did mine by hopping into the engine compartment with a flashlight and a pencil and having someone close it. I then followed the line with the D-molding.

I’ll add that I ordered the D molding from Lipship and it was an inferior product. I reordered some from Amazon w 3M adhesive that was excellent. I highly recommend this.
