Default New to the club

Well after buying a 1988 31 Bullet in the spring/summer of 2019, I have been doing a lot of searches to find out who owned the boat before me. The guy I bought the bullet from didn’t really keep it in the shape he got it. I spent most of the summer last year trying to get the cob webs off of it and getting things working right. Some of you may have saw it in Ocean City, MD for the boat races in September. Currently it is getting the transom re done and re rigged while I freshen the motors. Love to have done the transom myself but I just don’t have the space or the time.

Anyways, I’m looking for “Oldschool”. I am 99.9 % certain it was his boat and I’m pretty certain he can shed some light on this bullet. I love everything about this boat and want to keep it running for years. Like most of us, I don’t have the funds to drop on this right now to get everything done and have to do things over time. I don’t do the Facebook or social media stuff due to my job so any help is appreciated.

Thanks
George

Hey George - I sent you a text with Oldschool's contact info. Knowing him, I'm sure he'd be glad to help out.... Even so much as funding the whole project! HA!!!

I saw that boat when I had my Bullet. Was summer of 2014 in MD. Talked to the owner then for a bit. Was that you Oldschool? Or a different owner?

I believe that was the owner right after Old School. His name was Mike. He sold it to another gentleman who I bought it from. Mike kept it like it was in the pics from old school. Working on getting it back to its glory like in the pics.

Welcome to the Cigarette family, you will love that boat! The Bullet was my first Cigarette 10 years ago. Since that boat, I have had 2 Top Guns and loved them both... I wrenched on speed boats for 15+ years and have finally taken a break from speed.... and stress...now I have a cruiser. Lol...enjoy that Bullet! Great all around hull that can do more in rough water that most 35’ speed boats!
