Hatch and other parts for top gun....

I am very near purchasing a top gun. It has a race (raised) hatch that I would like to replace with a regular height hatch and scoops. It has blower motors with superchillers, so the motors are pretty tall, but it looks like a hatch will clear if built right. I also might replace the cabin interior (seats, carpet, basically everything but headliner) can anyone give me a rough guess on price?
Thanks,
John

Call Advanced Canvas at Lake of the Ozarks 573-374-1796
they have done a ton of cigs including mine. I am in the
process of doing the same thing replacing the racing hatches
with sundeck and pro stock style scoops. They also did my
cabin from scratch. Talk to Steve or Tod great people to
work with. My boat is there now if you are interested in the
process. greg

That's great, thanks for the info. Don't you have the "Nitro fish" boat. Awesome paint, a real eye catcher.
Air Power Graphics did the paint, is that right?

SummerObsession,
Dave Hunter is right at the top of my list, he painted our gun, but he is all the way down in FL. I would give some thought to giving Dan Patterson a call here in St. Louis.... His company is called Air-Power Graphics... He has done several of the big name / memorable boats that are at LOTO and he also does all of BigFoot's paint work... Some of the boats he has done at LOTO include: Crazyhorse
Zero Gravity
Bad Habit
Jesse James>> Ssherman's boat
Dave Scott's 36' Skater Nauti-Marine
Several 40' Skaters
ETC.....ETC...
If you want something eye-catching, Dan is your man... he just loves it when his customers let his creativity run wild!!!

I have a flat hatch on my '94 Top Gun and may go to a race hatch. If you want to talk about possible trades, you can call me. I'm down here at my place in Florida rehabbing from cancer surgery for a few weeks, so you can reach me at 941-779-2049 until 11/26/02. It is easiest to reach me in the evenings.

I agree, Dave Hunter is awesome, he painted our TG too. Here at the lake, if you are going to use Advanced ( I highly recommend them too) stop by and talk to Vincent. He has paint several of my friends Cigarettes. Kevin's is on his website, www.vincentcustompaint.com or you can view it at www.midwestpowerboats.com.
