T/S water pick up

T/S water pick up
What are you guys w T/S seeing for water pressure?
Mine seems to fluctuate some. If I am running in a straight line they will drop to 10lbs or less.
If I turn to say Starboard the Port side will rise to 20+ - and starboard will drop.
Temps will start climbing if I am running real hard.
I now have low water pick ups and we are going to lower tubes some more but the pickups seem to be close half or more of the "hole" is below the hull.
We have been lowering them and it has helped some but don't want to over pressure.
It was pretty much the same way when they were getting water from the drives.
Thoughts? Q.

How are you doing the inter-cooler dump ? you can reduce water flow through the cooler and increase engine pressure, Im running a -12 in and out of the cooler and a reducer on the output side to increase block pressure, Im pulling water through the drive so not the same as your set up.
