Good golly Miss Molly. That looks amazing. LMK when you are ready to sell.
A few years back I sold my 20' Spectra Day Cruiser; as it was just "too big" for a little boat to whip out for an afternoon. My reasoning was if I was going to have a ~20' boat, I wanted a Donzi Classic, Cigarette 20', or the 22' AT outboard. I would totally rock that Cig 20' when you are done with it, AND it's my current color preference too! Well done Craig. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...1a6dd95ccb.png |
LEDs
Got some cool LED cup holders from Eddie Marine, plus added a few strips under the dash and in the engine compartment. I wired them into the nav light circuit and then put an interrupter switch under the dash so I can turn them on when I want to...

Back to the interior.....
Total custom job and well worth the cost!! I decided to do away with the foot throttle, but keeping the 1974 Morse shifter was a must. The solution was to build a console for the new throttle...

Brought the boat home last week... The only thing that I have left to do is install the stainless rub rail. It was on back order and I just got it yesterday. Will get it done next week.

Last photos and we are now up to date... My goal for this project was to leave the stock drivetrain as it is and have a classic, not too over the top "toy" that is updated and I wouldn't have to work on all the time, but still has the heritage that it deserves. I think that everyone involved knocked it outta the park. I can't wait to get it out on the water and see the gains, if any from the shorty lower, exhaust change and steering upgrade.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL outcome and yet it looks like how a new 2021 20' Cig would be delivered ....hell, with that project, your new motto could be stock is only the starting point....
