Yea. Looking at one with these motors in it and trying to see what they actually are. I don’t believe they are zuls.

what year? After say 2012 or so richie was winding down towards retirement so he wasnt doing tons of engines, so that may be a clue as well

Unless the current owner of the 42 has the paperwork to back up the claim that the engines are Zul's, offer accordingly..... a pair Zul flame arrestor in the "swap shop" is worth what?? but makes a good addition to an engine bay cosmetically.

I may be off base but one of the first things I noticed about the Zul engines ( and I liked) was the tunnel rams - same as the mid/late 80's 700 ( or were they 750hp?) Merc racing engines. They just stand out from a B&M SC

they are. I’m going up to his place next week to look at it. And just looking for where the motors came from since his boat was a 525 whipple boat originally.
