My guess is that he didn’t notice because of the chop he was getting into and possibly didn’t hear it because his hull was slapping. Lol

That's not an oversight, that's a "feature".
That is cold air directed forced induction for additional power and acceleration when going down hill.

It was a really good looking Cafe. I almost bought it! Just needed some minor updates. Looks like the new owner is enjoying the hell out of it.
