Default 2003 Playboy / Mistress 35 info

Been boat shopping for a while and just saw this for sale in Sarasota FL. Its a 2003 35 with HP500's and Bravo's that looks pretty clean, asking $89k without a trailer. Anyone know this particular boat? Seems like a reasonable price? Motors were gone through about 50 hours ago from what i understand.

I called on this boat about 30-45 days ago. I spoke with the broker and the mechanic as well. The mechanic told me the starboard motor header was leaking and caused water to crack the number 3 piston. They bored that cylinder only and replaced with an oversized piston. This steered me away from this boat. Should have had all 8 cylinders bored and all the same sized pistons put in. Also new headers not just weld up the old set. I was told this boat is also a saltwater boat as well. I also asked for receipts on this boat and they still have not been able to provide any at all. I got a quote from Manning on the trailer at $15,000 as well.

Sounds like he just fixed it on the cheap, I asked for documentation on the repairs and broker said that there wasn't any and that the repairs were done by a "friend". Sucks that they didn't get done properly or at least sleeve that cylinder and keep piston size the same. I was thinking a trailer would be around $10k as well, not 15 but good to know that too because i was going to call Manning.

When I priced the Manning trailer out it was loaded up with all the goodies! You can probably get a stripped down trailer for 10-12K through Manning.

I am in the metal business. the prices are sky rocketing no telling what a trailer will coast. we have had 15-20% increase across the board and going up still.

Manning is here in MI a few hours from me, another trailer builder here is Integrity but they are usually higher than Manning. What other trailer manufactures would you recommend?

I got quoted 13k for an ibeam aluminum trailer from Kokopeli Trailers in Phoenix. This had LEDs, 3 axle disk, electric brakes, upgraded wheels, etc.

I was wondering about this boat myself. I sent an email around X-Mas and the lack of a reply now makes sense. I had asked about who had worked on the motors etc. No reply to my inquiry ever came. Its hard to fathom that they bored only one cylinder... But at least they were honest about it.
