Had a great season last year, last trip out I lost a tooth or two on upper, locked it up and wiped out input shaft, snapped u joint, blew helmet apart, shattered bellow, was talking on water at ramp after stopping, had to go 15 miles at 8 mph, good part is it didn't take water while moving..

Can't complain the factory SSMIII have about 900 hours and 33 years never been apart, funny thing is the rest of gear looks new and bearings look new, don't see Bravos doing that.

so in process I bought tons of SSM parts some to fix my 1.58 upper and sell leftovers, picked up a smoking deal on SSMIIIA Drives that are 1.68 ration recently serviced by Riggs, my props are all 26 spline so that will be nice and mine were a tad big so I am also hopping to be more dialed in at 1.68 ratio change.

onky other real plan is to replace my A/C unit that finally died last fall, change oil and go boating.

Surprised you don’t run 4 blades. Drives look great. Way under rated drives. They’re fantastic.

I do run 4 blades usually the 3 blades came with the drives and may be perfect for my combo for a top end run, my 4 blades are great but lift stern a tad much, I should take diameter out but the props are great hate to change them.
