Default Hatch ram relocation?

I installed new motors but the hatch ram is running into the new headers when we lower the hatch. What are the options for a workaround on this?

Thanks!

Any room in front of the motors?

I removed mine because there was no way to make it work. I lift it by hand

Can you run a pair of rams at the sides of the compartment like in the 42?

I haven’t seen that setup but I would assume I could. I’m sure this has to be a common issue in TG’s but maybe not.

Not a cig but I’ve been looking into relocating my lifts as the hatch does not open very wide on a ZR. Cig basically took two of your lift mechanisms and put them on either side on the staggered boats. Ingenious design in my opinion. Not a simple quick project but could be done yes. I’m sure replacing the headers now would be a bear. Other option would be to put electric lifts towards the front of the engine bay that push straight up on the hatch, but not sure if you have the room and those can impede access.

thanks for the pics, the 42 set up would be great. It may be possible for the electric ones also on the sides. Going to require some craftsmanship for sure.
