94 Cigarette 38 for sale issues?
Is there any major issues with this boat for sale in Wisconsin? It's been on the market for a long time and I click on it every couple weeks surprised it hasn't sold yet. I know it needs some TLC and such but is there something else I'm missing on it, is there a bad back story with the boat? or am i just missing the obvious issues on it lol I have a 388 hustler lined up to buy in the next couple months if i want it but this boat has had me curious for awhile now on why the boat hasn't sold yet and has me second guessing on the hustler.
Heres the link but I'm sure most of you guys know the boat by now.

Thanks for any help

Ive seen that boat for sale and wondered the same thing. Looks pretty clean to me but Im sure everyone is going to say to get a surveyor to check compression on the engines and to check for moisture around the transom. I bet its a blast to drive with those 850's.

That is RUCKUS!!! Used to be owned by an OSO member "Blonde Cig Chick" about 16-18 years ago and then it went to the Chicago area. Looks like it hasn't been taken care of very well and is certainly in need of a "Makeover"... Do a search on here. Anna was quite the looker back then. Not sure what she's up to now....

well its pop yachts so who knows, tank knows history on it, at a minimum i would expect to have tpo redo engines and possibly transom, i recall seeing somewhere it was soft. also the wet 6s are a power drain... there is an easy 75k in redoing things

Thanks for the responses guys. Those were the answers i was pretty much expecting and i went back and read some of the other forums on it. Looks like someone asked the same thing a year and a half ago when it was for sale and it still hasn't sold. I wonder if anyone has done a survey on it yet to see just how bad it is?
If i was to buy it i was going to hopefully just use it a couple times a year then start the rebuild process on it but sounds like it might not even make it a couple trips to the lake lol
Thanks for the help guys.

Flew to Wisconsin yesterday and sea trialed this boat. It’s got a lot of cosmetic issues and some drive issues that would need to be addressed. Seems that I’m the only person that’s gone to look at it based on the conversation with the nice folks at Riggs marine. First time the boat has been in the water in years. Happy to answer any questions. Owner is kind of a d*ck. Good luck to anyone else interested
