fuel tank question

Guys,

First post as a cig owner.. Excited as hell.. How do you switch for one fuel tank to the other? I didn't see a switch. I didn't look that hard either. I assume they are independent of each other and you have to fill separately and switch them?

Thanks Guys... Matt

Congratulations on your Cigarette! You have to fill each side of boat. It should have one tank fuel each engine. On the front step in front of engines is a door(center) with valves that will shut Fuel tanks off. Both should be open. Enjoy your new ride. Post some pictures after you have 10 post on OSO.

mine are independent of each other. no way to draw between the two.

What drake said plus if needed you can switch the valves so that both motors run off of one tank.

FYI most boats you will find that one motor uses more fuel than the other. on my 35 i found that i would use about 10 gallons more in one tank.
also don't believe the gauges , when you get to half a tank you are acually closer to 1/4 of a tank. when you hit a 1/4 you better be close to a marina.

I assume on a 03 you have 500efi's or 525s so you should be able to run close to 200 miles when running 70-75
