This beautiful 42 Tiger was at Brown's Bar yesterday on Lake St. Clair. When my friend asked how much that boat would cost I said it depends on the power but that this one is probably around a mil. When I look them up I find 20 year models underpowered with 500s for under $200,000. Is this model still made? It sure looked new. I'm intrigued by this boat. Any input would be appreciated! This boat certainly didn't look underpowered. It is based out of Port Huron, Michigan. (And here's my little Donzi at the dock

kind of hard to tell at the water line but appears to be an older flat bottom none stepped Tiger, pre 2000 or so........nice looking boat, and no Cig doesn't make the Tiger any more
EDIT: just a guess but its probably around 100-150k range depending on several things

Looks like a nice restored Tiger. New paint, dash upgrades, interior, etc. Looks to have IMCO drives. Ken nailed it - this exact boat 100-150 in this market. New was probably 400k in 99/00 when Cig was pumpin' this model out. New 42X (new version of this boat) runs 7-800k.
Wonder what the original paint was on this Tiger.
Looks like this 38 gun was the paint inspiration. I dig it!!

Its a similar paint job to nasty habit, the 42x with 6's, that one is more than likely a 575 Xr boat... depending on how well they are taken care of you can find them out there from 75k to mine at 325K obo, but if you buy the 75k one, youll be at the asking price of mine in no time.

Well thanks for my Cigarette lesson! It sure looked like a modern boat to me other than the non-staggered engines and that is a hell of a lot of boat to have for only $200,000 or less but I think it would be a real dog with 500s. Nasty Habit looks even better than the one I asked about.

You can buy mine in that range and I'll go buy Rare Breed and "surprise" my wife!! I haven't spent as much on mine as Rob has!!!!!
Actually, these days none of my poor decision making surprises her.....
Cool Donzi - I have a '78 O/B 16'?.............

Yep, everything is for sale... I figured that this was a new boat with big power hence the 1 mil cost guess. I'd love to drive a boat that big. I suppose that if 500s can maybe get it up to 70 then that's not too bad.

Twin step tigers were made from 2001-2004
42x from 2004 to ?? As center consoles took over after the recession. If there are newer ones out around it won't be many. Twin step tigers and 42x's are starting to climb in value. If you get one with upgrades you're looking at 150-200k.
