Default Lip ship sea strainer? Need replacement lid

Guys, posting here because I’ve been told by Hardin that this is something custom from LipShip. I have not been able to get an answer via email and have called several times with no call back yet, I’m sure he’s swamped so I’ll keep trying. In the meantime… anyone know where to find a clear replacement lid? 6.25” diameter and uses a “v band” style clamp with (3) machined aluminum caps.

It sounds like it might be a Stainless Marine strainer, but we need to see it.

you can polish the plastic, i polished mine and ceramic coated the water side to stop the water from staining it.

It is acrylic… one of these broke on me when I hooked up the hose. I guess my water pressure is high enough that I must crack the dump open until I get the engines cranking.

I need one replacement but can’t find it anywhere. I can machine aluminum blanks to seal it off but thought I’d look for an easy available solution.

any local acrylic shop can make one for you, here in md we have one called precision plastics, they do all the local cig windshields as well. take one in and have them duplicate it, polish it and seal it.
