What was the last year that this model was produced? it is my understanding that it was only made until the early '90's.

Officially, I think it was indeed in the late 80's early 90's that they stopped promoting it. However, Cigarette has a history of keeping molds around and accommodating special orders for discontinued models or in some cases, reintroducing them on a limited bases.

The 28SS for instance could have been special ordered up through the mid 90's I believe. And as you might know, the 20 was reintroduced with a revised deck a few years ago.

As such, although perhaps none of the 24's may have been built for years, if you were truly obsessed, there's a chance they might still built one for you. I do know that there's not many out there.

That all said, a few months ago, there was a mid-80's Firefox for sale in Wisconsin. I'm not sure if it ever sold, but if you do some searching, you might get lucky.

I had the one discussed here from Wisconsin. I sold it back in September to a person from Chicago. It was an '86 model. 150 hours.

I can't tell you how many times I looked at that boat online...I wanted it bad and the price seemed reasonable. Why did you sell it? How fast was it and did you buy another Cigarette?
