Default Need some assistance - Swim Ladder and Bimini Cover

All
I have had a heck of a time trying to find two items (that should be [I thought] an easy task). I would like to add a swim ladder under my swim platform and a Bimini Cover for my 2004 Top Gun. No one seems to know how or where to get one. The few leads turned out nothing. The one company that I've been told made the original swim ladder is currently shut down due to Covid with no idea if/when they will reopen production. On the Bimini cover I did get an estimate from a local shop who quoted close to 5k which seems a bit high when I see other boat bimini covers costing $500. I do not plan to run with the Bimini up (or even attached) so it does not need to be hard mounted to boat.

Does anyone have any idea on who/where I could purchase either a swim ladder or bimini for my boat. I seem to be striking out everyone I look.

Thanks in advance,

Stephen D.

are there 4 stud bosses welded to the bottom of the swim deck ? these are designed for under mount, you would need to fab something up.

Yes, the swim platform already has welded mounts underneath that are 11"x14.5",threaded. All the normal swim ladders have a 8" x 10" so they are too small. I've been told that GG Schmidt used to make the ladders for Cigarette but no one is there that will tell me anything and they appear to be perpetually closed due to Covid.

[QUOTE=H20 Toie;4806464]for the shade i just got one of the anchor shades.

Thank you, I have ordered one, let’s see how it works out, hopefully it will save me the additional $4800 that was being proposed for one.

Also I was able to talk to someone GG Schmidt and Sons: they have started back into fabrication. Hopefully I will get a call from them in the near future about being able to fabricate a swim ladder.

Thank you, I may need to take you up on your offer, I ordered one from GG Schmidt but they were not entirely confident that it will fit so let me see how it works and then I will let you know, thank you very much :-)
