Default Cigarette's 1st Restore??

Little birdie told me Cig bought this cafe and they plan on doing a full restoration. Can't wait to see what Mindi and crew does with it. The thing was well kept and a very solid canvass. Will it get some 520's or 565's and some new Xr's, upgraded / new style dash and interior? How about the cabin, leave the layout, upgrade it? I could go crazy with the resources the factory has. Can't wait to see how this comes out.

If some of Carter's Cafe's are selling for $90k+, makes me wonder what an official Cig resto-mod would go for.

I would have thought they would be too busy building the high dollar center consoles to take on restorations.

Will prob come with a factory warranty to boot, might be a good investment for a certain class of buyer.

Oh yeah, that blue cafe carter did sold for like 135 I think. Its for sale now for 100k. I'm guessing a full restored factory boat is gonna be a pretty penny. I know Phil gets mid to upper 100's for his fully restored straight bottom Guns.

Mindi was brought on specifically for these tasks.

It is certainly not their first restoration project. I have been there numerous times and have seen "Projects" sitting in the buildings. My understanding they were owned by a spacific foreign client that is a VERY good customer.

I look forward to what they do with this one. Personally I wish they would figure out a way to bring Gladiators back to a "orderable" boat.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's great. Keeps their older models strongly representing the brand on the water, attracts buyers who want a Cig who cant pay new prices but also dont want to buy 20+ yr old model that you know will need work. It's pretty much a factory certified used boat. Works well for the auto manufactures.
