As others have said, if your buddy is truly interested have him give Tony a call….a phone call can go a long way and will hopefully provide your buddy with some confidence. Regardless, Tony is a straight shooter, knowledgeable and an open book. In fact, he arranged the original purchase of this boat for the current owner, so he knows the boat well. I’m not saying the owner wouldn’t take your call, but I’d guess he is a lot like myself and doesn’t have the time, energy and patience to deal with a hundred prop kickers that have zero intention or ability to purchase this boat, which is why he chose someone to represent the boat on his behalf. I admit, if I still wanted a fast Cig, this boat would be my primary target. It would be a great candidate for a Mercury 1100/1350 upgrade…😁

Nailed it why he wants people to call Tony. He has owned a lot of cool boats and is just over the selling process himself and has a lot in his daily life he can put that attention and energy toward.

Tony is great as you said. Anyone interested call him up.

How long has the current owner had this boat, and did he buy it from another seller in Ohio? I looked at a 42x very similar to this one prior to buying my 39 two years ago. If it is the same boat, I have the paperwork showing the engines were rebuilt.
