Your place is beautiful. I fully understand how hard it is to use and maintain the boat with all the work it takes to maintain and enjoy your new home. I built this as a second home and try to juggle between using the boat and the house. I finally accepted if I only use the boat a weekend a month that’s okay.
I wish you luck in your new home and selling the Cig if you really want to. I think as the weather warms you may decide to hang on to it and enjoy them both.

thanks fellas!!! the 10’ fence is for deer. The orchard was convinced that installing a fence would significantly cut down on crop loss. Because the fence is installed on our property we have a lease agreement for full access to the orchard.

we were back and forth on buying this house or the neighbors. It had pool, pool house, gazebo, 73 solar panels, 3 garages in addition to the house garage, etc.

beautiful house!!!! My wife wanted a log home!!!

But yea, the boat already doesn’t see any use. This will make it worse. Who knows I may hang on to it come spring…but I also rather see someone else use it than it sit around collecting dust.

Looks like quite the spread. You might need to split up the mowing into multiple days, it looks like at least a 4-beer job.

I would write you a check right now if I could!! I wish financing "older" boats wasn't such a pain!

Almost impossible unless you want to pay crazy rates, and that was when I checked before all the rate hikes. Lightstream, is a option depending on how much you need.

Its not just old boats…money has become expensive to borrow in general whether it be houses, cars, etc. Which is kinda the point in high inflation environments.

my recommendation now depending on the persons mortgage situation…if you only have 10 years left refinance to a 10YR arm at 4.75% which isn’t horrible and borrow the money that way. Otherwise all of these specialty loan companies are going to be incredibly expensive.
