Default 1986 38’ Flatdeck

Finally got to join the Cigarette family!!! Boat came with the leather binder from cigarette with everything still in it!
Now I start the upgrading and personalization.
Swapped over from Fountain and so far I am happy!!!!!

yes sir. Went to NY and it ended up not being exactly what I wanted to tackle. This is a better starting point for me.
Very mild power/drives right now.
470” Merlin block, dart headed and TRS drives. We will do the interior and stereo system then decide on power/drives. Boat looks great and runs great, so we are going to use it as we customize in steps lol.

This one. I really wanted one to redo, but it just was more work than I wanted right now.

Congratulations and welcome to the Cigarette family! 38 Flat Decks are cool and absolute wave crushers. Enjoy!

Boat actually needs transom and stringer work. I have it scheduled to be done End of November. We are enjoying until then. I was aware of issues when I bought it and wanted a winter project.

I am planning on replacing the whole transom and stringers up to the bulkhead as of now. Everything else checked solid. We got the motors straightened out and running like a top. The guy I actually bought from didn’t know anything, I showed him all the issues Cory told me about. Overall it’s a nice boat. I am also going to update the interior, cabin and sound system. Going to use the boat for my dingy for our Carver lol.
