^ Picture doesn't show it well, but it's a detent-style pin that is activated by pulling the end hoop. I believe I got it from Grainger.

My solenoid quit before but I just stick my hand in there lol.
If those vents weren`t there I`d be pretty screwed.
if you can lift yours a little bit I`d replace the most forward bolt/nut with a pin.

My mechanic stopped by today to check the part no of my transducer. I asked him about a hatch that won’t open. He said that’s why they put the pump in the cockpit. You open a valve and it lets the fluid and pressure out and then you can overcome the hydraulics and open it easily.

I have heard of guys going through the side vents with a long extension and unbolting the ram.

don’t see how this would work if the pin is either bolted or e-clipped into position…

Those pins only have a detent ball to hold them in place to work with a pull tether
