Nice, it never ends. It is definitely nice when you have the space to work on it.

[QUOTE=kreed;4892376]Looking forward to seeing pics. Sounds like you are building a keeper there!. I just wanted to add that the notched transom makes a big difference top speed,...on the Bullet model anyways. Id say 3-5 MPH and honestly closer to the 5 MPH on the Bullet. I know every hull is different when it comes to how they react to mods, but the notch was definitely a "step" in the right direction! We need pics sooooon !![/QUOT
Sorry folks no pictures yet, my wife got sick and it has been a rough month. I hope to get back on it and get some pictures very soon.

still haven’t run it, let alone even see it in person lol

going out Easter Sunday to havasu and plan on running it for the first time that week. Then back out for Supercat fest west a couple weeks after that. Haven’t started doing anything to it yet. New seadeck is scheduled, trailer stuff will get done after we run it in April. I’d like to get it back to ca end of June to run out here through fall.

can’t wait to see pics of all
The work youve been doing on the cafe!

Here is a couple of pictures of the drives I just finished polishing. Hopefully I will get the engines home next week and get some photos of them. I also started on remaking the hatch for more clearance.

dayum!! What was the process to get them
to shine up like that? I was thinking of polishing the lowers on the 6’s but couple runs and they dull up quick again. Polish and clear coat would be the ticket I’m guessing.

These were painted silver, so I started with 120,180,220,280,320,400,600,800,1000,1200,1500,250 0 on a DA in the locked position. Then buffed them with Brown, Green and White bar compound with spiral cut pad, then soft cut, then flannel. It is a lot of work but goes pretty quick if you have the right tools. To keep them looking good use Sharkhide protectant, put on a couple of coats which is really easy. It should last about a month or so getting dragged through the water.
I hoped to be done with this project by mid-August but I keep getting pulled away. I'm now hoping to get it done before we get snow so I can get it in the water and do some tuning.
